Mensa est un club international de personnes qui ont réussi un score dans les 2% supérieurs d'un test de QI standardisé. Depuis sa fondation en 1946, Mensa s'est développée jusqu'à atteindre plus de 110'000 membres. Les membres n'ont aucune tâche particulière à accomplir, mais nombreux sont ceux qui choisissent d'organiser des rencontres, fêtes, cours et voyages à l'étranger. Mensa permet la rencontre de personnes ayant des idées et intérêts différents, mais l'association elle-même n'exprime pas d'opinion politique ou religieuse.
Contest February 2012: Children's birthday party with Euclid
At a children's birthday party, Euclid serves a circular cake and asks the children to cut the cake into a finite number of equal and continuous pieces. The only condition he insists on is that at least one piece must not touch the center point.
So the usual way of cutting a cake into pieces, as shown in the figure to the right, is not allowed, as all of the pieces touch the center here.
Equal means that all of the pieces must have the same shape and size. Reflections are allowed.

October 1st, the day Mensa was founded in 1946, is International Intelligence Day.
On Intelligence Day, our IQ test will be administered simultaneously in about 100 cities all over the world. Take the chance to find out your IQ score, learn more about intelligence and meet Mensa. And, of course, join us after you passed the test!
